About Marianne Boltz
Dr. Marianne Boltz received her doctor of optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1996. Dr. Boltz completed a residency in Pediatric Optometry and Binocular Vision at the Illinois College of Optometry. She also became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in October 2007 and served on the Academy Lectures and Workshops Committee for 5 years. During her first years in private practice, she was an adjunct pediatric faculty member at PCO. In 2003 she joined the Penn State Eye Center as an assistant professor of ophthalmology, providing both pediatric and low vision direct care. Dr. Boltz provides clinical and didactic education to medical students and residents. Dr. Boltz has been very active in the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, serving as President of the association in 2014. She enjoys public speaking and has had the honor of lecturing at the American Academy of Optometry meeting eleven times.
